Personal Data We Process

When you purchase a course or masterclass from Six Side Up, we enter into an agreement. To execute this agreement properly, we need the following information from you. Without this information, we unfortunately cannot enter into an agreement with you. For executing the agreement, we need the following information from you: Name, Company Name (if applicable), Chamber of Commerce (if applicable) Number, Address, Email Address, and Bank Account Number (hereinafter referred to as the basic data). Often, we also need your Instagram or Facebook name. Perhaps you provide us with more information. Think of your phone number, or maybe you set a profile picture on your course profile. This means that those data will also be processed.

We have this data from you because you provided it to us.

Six Side Up uses various service providers to properly execute its services. Below, you'll see which data we process from you per type of service provider, why this happens, and on what legal basis. Please note; We reserve the right to change platforms, email providers, payment systems, and any other service providers without prior consent.

Accounting/Administration

For invoicing and processing payments, we use various software. The software we currently use for this purpose is Stripe, PayPal, Ideal. These parties process the basic data as listed above. These data need to be processed because it's part of executing the agreement and because we have a legal obligation to send invoices.

We retain this data for seven years: this is the legal retention period of the Tax Authorities.

Email

When you make a purchase through our website, you will subsequently receive automated emails so that you can actually access the course. The software we use for this purpose is MailBlue. For regular email correspondence, we use Google Workspace. In these situations, we process your email address and name.

Additionally, you can sign up for our newsletter. In that case, we also process your email address and name. We process your data for our newsletter solely based on your consent, and you can always withdraw this consent. The processing we did while the consent was still valid remains legally valid.

Course Platform

Six Side Up's courses can be hosted on the Kajabi, Facebook, Youtube or LinkedIn platform. To grant you access to this platform, we provide them with your email address.

Meetings/Live Sessions

Live sessions take place via Zoom or Facebook or LinkedIn. You will receive a link to participate in these sessions. To log in to the meeting, you need a Zoom, Facebook or linkedin account. You create this account yourself. In meetings, you can choose whether to turn on your camera and which name to display.

Reviews

For requesting and processing reviews, we use Useproof. For this, you send your (company) name, email address, and the actual review to Useproof so that we can use this information. We do this based on the legitimate interest basis. If you no longer want us to use your review, we will delete the information.

It's common for us to receive reviews via Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin or email. If you send this to us in a personal message, we will always ask for your consent before sharing your review with your username. If you post a review and tag us, this serves as consent to share.

Other Software

To ensure that you get access to the private Instagram or Facebook account after signing up for a course, we use Typeform. You fill in your email address, name, and Instagram of Facebook name there.

Six Side Up uses the Google Workspace environment to create and edit documents. In this environment, we may process customer data. We will never process sensitive data such as bank account numbers here.

How Long Do We Retain Your Data?

We do not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data are collected. That is, of course, a vague description, so we would like to make it more concrete for you.

Are you a customer and do we have an agreement with each other? Then we retain your data (such as invoice and payment details) for seven years after terminating our agreement. That is the legal retention period set by the Tax Authorities.

Have you only contacted us and has no agreement been concluded? Then we retain your data for a maximum of two years. If you have subscribed to the newsletter, we will delete your data a maximum of three months after unsubscribing.

Sharing Personal Data with Third Parties

We do not sell or provide your data to third parties, and we will only provide your data to third parties if necessary for the execution of the agreement,

for example, if we use third-party software (as you have read above).

We may also provide data to third parties in order to comply with a legal obligation. Agreements are concluded with companies that process your data on behalf of Six Side Up to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Six Side Up remains responsible for these processing operations.

Data to the US

We also work with parties that are not based in the EU but in the United States. In these cases, we have investigated what security measures these parties have taken to protect your data (such as encryption and pseudonymization), and we only engage these parties once we are convinced of the level of protection. Of course, we conclude data processing agreements and make additional agreements with these parties. We also assess which data we send to these parties and make a risk assessment for each party.

Automated Decision Making

There is no automated decision making at Six Side Up without human intervention.

Your Rights

Based on the GDPR, you have certain rights: You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Additionally, you have the right to withdraw any consent for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Six Side Up, and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can request to have the personal data we hold about you sent to you or another organization you have named in a computer file.

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data to contact@ilonasix.com. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but no later than within one month.

Complaints

Six Side Up also wants to inform you that you have the possibility to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
